G.SKILL had already stretched the limit of the speed of DDR4 RAM with the Trident Z memory kit at 4600 MHz last year. But the company pushed even further and announced the new Trident Z RGB memory kit running at a whopping 4700 MHz, which is the fastest DDR4 memory in the world.

G.SKILL:

Today, all the hard work is finally paying off. G.SKILL successfully developed the world’s fastest RGB memory kit at a blistering DDR4-4700MHz, while maintaining ultra-low timings at CL19-19-19-39.

The memory kit has a capacity of 16 GB, with two 8 GB sticks. The memory uses high performance Samsung B-die ICs and can run at a respectable timings at CL19-19-19-39 at 1.45V. The previous RAM speed record for a RGB memory kit is at 4266 MHz, and the Trident Z RGB takes a huge step forward to 4700 MHz (about 10.2% higher). The memory supports Intel XMP 2.0 profile for easier overclocking.

The Trident Z RGB DDR4-4700 memory kit had already done stress tests on a MSI motherboard with the Intel Core i7-8700K processor. As usual, the RGB lighting can be controlled with various motherboard RGB LED software, such as ASUS Aura Sync and MSI Mystic Light Sync.

The memory kit will be available in Q2 2018, and pricing has not yet announced. For more information, you can visit G.SKILL’s website.
