After the accidental leak on Newegg’s website earlier in June, Noctua officially releases the new NH-P1 fanless CPU cooler, which its prototype was teased in Computex 2019.

The NH-P1 is a completely-passive CPU cooler, relying on the convection of air through the heatsink to dissipate the heat. Six copper heatpipes are spread across 13 rows of cooling fins. The aluminium fins are thicker and spaced wider than traditional CPU air cooler to reduce airflow resistance. All the metal weighs in at about 1180 grams. Noctua stated that the cooler is able to keep the temperature of the Intel Core i9-11900K under control at more than 3.60 GHz. For your information, the processor has a base clock speed of 3.50 GHz and a TDP of 125 watts. If you need some extra performance, you can get an optional NF-A12x25 LS-PWM fan to assist the cooling, that spins at 1200 RPM.

The NH-P1 is installed with the updated, Torx-based SecuFirm2+ mounting system. It is compatible with most recent CPU sockets, like Intel LGA1200, LGA2066 and AMD AM4. The cooler comes with a standard 6-year warranty. It is priced at $109.90 USD (MSRP) and should be available for purchase now.
