KLEVV (Essencore) today (June 16th) announces two new M.2 NVMe SSDs. One of them is the CRAS C920, which is the company’s first PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
Paired with the PCIe 4.0×4 interface, the CRAS C920 is equipped with the Phison PS5018-E18 memory controller and 3D TLC NAND flash. Drive capacity ranges from 1 TB to 2 TB. It is capable of reaching sequential read/write speeds up to 7000 MB/s and 6850 MB/s. 1 TB model will have a slower write speed at 5500 MB/s. No random IOPS performance can be found on the product page.
The CRAS C920 is rated to have endurance level from 700 TBW to 1400 TBW. All models are provided with a 5-year warranty. The company does not release any pricing and availability information yet.
